One of the pages informs us Dr. Spencer Johnson has written other best sellers, one of which sounds catchy for obvious reason: The One Minute Teacher. In the meantime what came to my hands is "Who Moved My Cheese". Barely 100 pages yet its impact is limitless. Even the sections are easy to grasp: Gathering, the core of the story: who moved the cheese and a discussion. Teachers will surely find this outline very learner-friendly. It took me barely half hour to finish reading it and yet up to now it is still sinking in my consciousness how to "move my own cheese". There are many "Hems" and "Haws" but fewer "Sniffs and Scurrys" but this is not the focus. We, the readers, who live in the real world - not mice and little people definitely - are left with a challenge: to find our way through the maze of life and try to live amidst changing times.
With a plan to come up with an instructional material, this book comes at the most opportuned time. Hopefully, Dr. Johnson can see a copy of it. Also, this blog will carry some of its main insights.ife,
So let us all look for The Minute Teacher - do share what you think of it if you have read it already.
