In an interview, Manny Pacquiao made it clear that he is not just fighting Miguel Cotto for the money but for the Filipino people as well. As always he invokes God's blessing so he will be victorious.
If I were the teacher of Manny Pacquiao, I would encourage him to keep up the good work. He should continue his studies and his singing. While he had always been winning, the law of life is such there is always a first time. But then I would not dwell on this at this time for I feel in my gut Manny would still win the fight this coming Sunday, November 15, 2009.
So if I were the teacher of Manny I would tell him to fight as though everything depended on him but pray as though everything depended on God.
I come from Bukidnon and being a teacher, one of Manny's relatives was one of my students. He shared in class how Manny made the effort to meet all his relatives from Bukidnon. Their next reunion would be in General Santos City this coming December 2009.
Education 108 is one subject in the College of Teacher Education in Bukidnon State University which is an Introduction to Guidance and Counseling including Special Education. Malaybalayan invited Elsie Yongco and Daylin Galo to teach the students Sign Language. Congratulations to the Ed 108 students who passed with flying colors, but of course with Malaybalayan as their instructor, what else could happen?
